Welcome to 5 Minute Friday:
Today's prompt: Perspective.
It's hard some days to have any type of perspective in the trenches of it all. I try to be the good wife, the good mother, a good prayer, a good employee. Most of my brain is scattered. Pieces of me here and there.
Alas, the next day's confusion beckons as the alarm clock wails.
Will I ever see what matters?
Or will these walls come tumbling down one day?
Ohmygoodness! I can totally relate! In fact, LOL! I could have just about written what you wrote here word for word! Good post! It really clenches the feeling of a typical day in my own life! Keep on keepin' on, Sister! Have a blessed weekend!

Hope you had a blessed weekend also. Ours was great. Got a lot accomplished and cleaned out.
DeleteSee here: "At the end of the day when the kitchen is still a mess, the floor is sticky and baby is fast asleep, I escape it all and try to find sleep. Oh glorious sleep. I should get more sleep, I should get to bed earlier." Just plug in my tween for your baby and we are living a paralleled life! Happy Saturday- nice share!
ReplyDeleteHaha!! Thank you! Glad to know that I'm not alone.
DeleteLife can feel like a hamster wheel no doubt...be encouraged! I have been in the same season before but it will pass! Seek God first and the rest will fall into place.
ReplyDeleteAmen!
DeleteOhh, I can so relate to you there. Still up when I should be in bed. It does get better though. A lot better.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the encouragement.
DeleteI forgot to mention, still struggling with clearly defining my goals. If you figure out how that works please let me know!
